DaisyCat Creations’ Terms of Service
Payments, payment plans, and refunds:
-Payments can only be sent through Square invoicing, you will need to contact me every time you are ready to send in an additional payment so I can set up a new invoice
-I’m pretty flexible on payment plans but I do require a 40% down payment which is non-refundable and covers the cost of materials, commissions must be paid off within 6 months of being accepted into my queue
-In the case that you decide to cancel your commission I will only provide a refund for the work I have yet to start, any work that has been started will be altered slightly (depending on where I’m at in the process) so it no longer resembles your character and will be sold as a premade
-Absolutely no refunds can be given after the suit has been shipped
Quotes and concept art
-When requesting a quote please provide a clear unshaded reference sheet with at least 2 views (front and back) 3 views (front, back, and side) is preferred but not required. If you do not provide a proper ref sheet your quote request will be ignored
-Changes to concept art/character design cannot be made after you are accepted into my work queue
-There are only so many colors of fur so I will try my best to accurately match the colors on your reference image but I cannot guarentee a perfect match and we may have to substitute colors (especially true with shades of brown and grey and certain pastel colors)
Minors:
-I will not work directly with minors but I am more than happy to work with a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor over the age of 16, we can set up a group chat so both parties can have some say on the final product!
-Please be ready to provide proof of age with some form of photo ID (can be drivers license, state ID, school ID, etc.) your information will not be stored and is solely to prove that you are who you claim to be.
Sizing:
-I require a duct tape dummy (DTD) for all full suits to ensure accurate sizing, please be ready to send this in within a month of being accepted into my queue. If you send in a DTD that I deem to be low quality or improperly made I will request a new one to be sent in, the fit of your suit is dependent on a high quality DTD
-Please be ready to provide measurements for your suit upon request
Deadlines and completion dates:
-I will not work with deadlines unless given at least 4 months in advance, even then your place in the queue may effect whether or not your suit is completed by the requested date
-Commissions paid in full upfront will take priority and be higher in the queue
-I cannot give an exact date for when a costume will be completed as sometimes there’s shipping delays on materials and life happens, I will keep you updated throughout the entire commission process!
Repairs:
-Any suit repairs that may need to occur within 5 months of ownership are free as long as no changes have been made to the suit on your behalf (round trip shipping for repairs is at the expense of the commissioner)
-I’m more than happy to help you through fixing your own suit, just shoot me a message if you feel the problem is minor and I’ll walk you through it!
Shipping and handling:
-Shipping costs are not included in the final cost of a costume and commissioners should expect a $75-$250 shipping fee (within the US)
-I will not ship your suit until it has been completely paid off and shipping has been covered, no exceptions.
-All packages will be shipped through UPS or USPS depending on the location
-Once a costume has been shipped and is no longer in my possession I cannot take responsibility for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages
-I strongly recommend packages to be insured though the shipping cost will be significantly increased and the final decision is up to the commissioner
Other:
-By commissioning Daisycat Creations you agree that you are 18 years or older (or are working through a parent/ guardian) and agree to my Terms of Service
-Please note that I live in a house with three dogs so be aware of any potential allergens when deciding to apply for a commission!
